Workshop 1 Colour Psychology

Colour Psychology will enlighten you to the impact of colour on mood, behaviour and perception, and how it communicates on a visual and subte level.

In this workshop you will gain insight into colour and meaning from a universal and personal perspective. You will also discover how colour and its applied psychology can promote harmony, enhance design and strengthen the integrity or meaning of a visual 'message' (person, place, product or thing).

Colour psychology workshops can be topic, application or industry relevant. These may include - personal, environmental, business or specific use applications.

Workshop 2 Colour and You

Colour and You focuses on the personal colour experience. Learn how colour works energetically, and how it can be utilised effectively to enhance your life and wellbeing, to support creative self expression, connect with the spiritual essence of who you are, lift your mood, enhance image and increase self confidence.

You will discover your unique connection to colour - how your personality influences your colour choices and your harmonising colour palette for mind, body and spirit.

Workshop 3 Colour Therapy for the Home

Colour Therapy for the Home is discussed in terms of applied colour therapy - to achieve harmony, create mood and positively energise the space with colour. Consideration is given to the building and interior design features, and determining the colour needs of individuals living within the home.

Optional inclusion * Creating Supportive Environments for Children

This workshop may work in conjunction with Environments and Designing with Colour workshop - if you are interested in creating your own 'therapeutic' colour palette.

Workshop 4 Environments and Designing with Colour

Environments and Designing with Colour draws comparisons between natural and man-made (built) environments, in terms of light, use of colour in design and potential human supportive solutions. You will also learn how and why approach to colour is different for interiors compared to exteriors, and why climate and geographical location influences the colour palette.

This workshop provides a birds eye view of professional colour design. Discover the influence of light, and how to -work with colour 'tools', create a colour scheme, and transform ideas into reality. If you're building, renovating or simply wanting to enjoy and learn a creative skill, this course is for you.
